Next week promisses to be another miserable week for the long suffering customers of the Royal Mail service, or should I say non-service?
With workers threatening yet another two day stoppage during the week, there will only be more mountains of un-collected,
un-sorted and un-delivered mail for the millions of people who depend on the services of the postal workers to fret over.
Evidently the strikes are over plans for part-privatisation of the Royal Mail, but after months of bickering and strife both the company and its striking workforce are in danger of alienating the public whose interests, both maintain they have at heart.
As for me? I no longer care, one way or the other. Let them go back to carrier pigeons I say!
